Dr Fred M. Timmermans, MSc has graduated in 1982 as Master of Science in Dentistry at the famous 370 year established University of Utrecht (Holland). He had his own private practice in the city of Rotterdam until 2007. Always assisted by his partner Ellen, who managed the staff and facilitated professional prevention and relaxation therapy. It is the love for detail, the soul for quality and the spirit to really be able to help and serve you that makes Dr. Fred Timmermans sure that dentistry is an art. His 25 years of private practice experience in the Netherlands were dedicated to the greatest challenge for the future: Senior Dentistry. The quest for finding painfree, preventative and affordable treatment options to preserve the dentition for everybody during their full lifetime, is now evolving. Dr. Fred Timmermans was awarded honorary member of the Dutch Dental Association in 2007 for his work on dental quality systems and oral implantology. He also introduced "relaxation and sleep dentistry" in Rotterdam and now in Picton.

At every appointment we assess your oral health and we will advise you on all dental, functional and cosmetic options. Outstanding cosmetic dentistry requires special skills and extensive training beyond dental school. An artistically inclined cosmetic dentist works like an artist. Cosmetics are always part of our approach, even in our hygiene department. This is why we incorporate a polish whitening, a professional cleaning and a gum condition check in all regular  exams.   We only use materials which are toothcoloured and safe. We do not like amalgam, water fluoridation and will inform you on the negatives of many processed foods.  Prevention is in our genes! We can and will advise you on hygiene products and the great importance of a healthy diet and anti aging supplements.
